About Our Organization

The Selling Stage, LLC is a Real Estate venture which began in 2010 with the mission to integrate and revitalize communities.  This mission is accomplished through three core Real Estate services:

  • Home Staging (Free tips below)

  • Residential Rentals

  • Renovation for Flipping (Investors Welcome)

Our customers are home sellers, home renters, and investors.  Our Staging helps home sellers reduce days on the market (1/3 faster) and maximize the selling price (20% higher).  We provide quality rental homes in highly desirable communities.  And we offer investors extraordinary ROI and support housing initiatives for homeless people.

The Selling Stage, LLC is headquartered in Wyoming and operates in Florida, Georgia, Michigan, and California using a highly trained and experienced team of Real Estate, Staging Design, and Skilled Trades professionals.

Free Staging Tips (We want you to be successful!)

1 - CLEAN
Clean and then clean some more.

You want your house to look well-maintained and well kept. Clean everything twice or hire a professional service.

Steam clean the carpets.

You can do it yourself or you can hire a professional carpet cleaner.

Rent a power washer

Power washing the walk or patio will improve curb appeal. Before power-washing, test surfaces to avoid damage.

2 - TIDY
Counter space is everything.

Display only one or two small appliances to maximize the amount of counter space available..

Maximize closet space.
Empty your closets to show off their full potential. Get rid of things you don’t need and organize what must stay.

Put away all personal grooming tools and toiletries.
To create a cleaner, streamlined space conceal your toothbrushes, hairbrushes, lotions, shampoos, etc.

Hide all indication of pets.

Store out of site the litter box, pet toys, and cages etc. Potential odors associated with pets may scare away  buyers.

Organize the playroom.

Make sure to put away all of the kids’ toys. Remember, you are selling the dream not your reality!

Park old cars.

Part of selling your house is selling a desirable lifestyle.

 Mow the lawn.

Make sure to mow the lawn and trim the trees before open houses. The outside is just as important as the inside.

3 - WELCOME

Paint walls a neutral color.

Bold, bright, or dark colors can be polarizing. Re-paint these walls a neutral color like beige or white for mass appeal.

Create an inviting entry and environment.

Door wreaths, fragrance oils diffusers or candles, aroma of baked cookies.

Let the light in.

Let in as much natural light as possible. If there is no natural light, make sure to install a light fixture in dark rooms.

Even a simple floor lamp can make a big difference.

De-personalize the home.
Take down family photos, obscure paintings, and political posters. Your house should show like a model home.

Replace hardware on kitchen cabinets.
If you can’t afford to replace or re-face old kitchen cabinets, replace the hardware to freshen the look.

Don’t underestimate the power of small changes.

Set the dining table.
You want your dining room to seem like a great space for entertaining.
